2010 British Open Golf Championship

Must admit that I'm no great follower of golf but since Thursday afternoon I've watched quite a bit of it (& it's excellent in HD)...well there's been fuck all football on...As it stands a South African Oosthuisen? is leading by 5 at -15 under par which in my opinion, considering I know fuck all about it, seems fantastic when you take into accout the weather.
Also, there was a young guy playing earlier...Ricky Fowler from the USA, he was bedecked from cap to trousers in orange..when questioned about it he said it was something to do with his former school's colour and that he was 'Orage through and through'...That lad will go places....Image....The future's bright

Followed the golf in some detail and yer right Harry the HD is class especially those super slow mo shots although they do tend to overdo them a tad! Got to feel for Westwood always the bridesmaid never the bride when it comes to majors, he WILL win one soon though hes been so close so many times now!

i dont usually bother with the golf but as i look after the lightning protection on the club house and the old course hotel at st. andrews i watched it this year to see if i could see any of my handiwork...i was up there a month back fixing a few bits and bobs and i could make your wallets shrivell with stories of how much the coachloads of yanks and japs are fleeced for in their efforts to go round the old course...the in house caddies,in particular, make monstrous amounts from the metal stick weilding tourists...anyway,i enjoyed watching it this year and i might even go out for a game with mrs. hibee as we have a 9 hole course near us on the braid hills...we were telling the kids that we used to play at portobello (9 holes) when we were winching but we were both crap...i inherited a nice set of sticks years ago and they're gathering dust in the attic so i might just dig them out and see if time has made me any better.
